Creative Solutions for Music Educators!

Are you in need of a "positive charge" with your music teaching with regards to instrumental, choral and general music?

If so, you are in the right place.  John Kuzmich, Jr. Ph.D is a veteran music educator, jazz educator and music technologist equally competent on all the woodwind and brass instruments.   Paul Lukasiewicz is a journeymen music teacher and church music director.  Together, they are uniquely creative and dynamic both in the classroom and beyond!

For example:  one of John’s unique talents is to personally place his students in colleges with scholarships.  This past year, John’s students earned full-tuition scholarships at the University of Denver, University of Colorado and University of Northern Colorado along with smaller music scholarships to Colorado State University at Pueblo, Adams State College, Western State College and Colorado Mesa University. And all of this was accomplished while he was teaching at Shandong University in Jinan, China through the "magic" of videoconferencing with GoToMeeting.

Paul is a problem-solver of the first-order who can analyze music technology challenges from hardware to software solutions in the areas of interactive web authoring to notation and music production, computter-assister instruction and beyond.

Don't hesitate to contact John and Paul for music technology solutions with your instructional challenges in an ever-changing profession.  Their expertise and background are varied ranging from 55 years in the classroom in the public school classrooms as a band director for 25 years, 12 years as a music supervisor, a senior editor of three national music educator journals (Jazz Educators Journal, American Suzuki Journal and The Instrumentalist) for nearly 20 years and as a featured columnist for most music education journals with over 600 articles published since 1973.  And most recently is hosting on-line videoconferencing interviews with noted music educators and authors covering the music education field. For samples, click here and here.

John and Paul are well aware of the needs of aspiring musicians and their classroom teachers. John's music technology column appears regularly in School Band and Orchestra magazine with more than 200+ feature articles published on-line and directly linked to the magazines from www.kuzmich.com/articles.html since 1998.   In addition, John is also hosting a monthly music technology column for www.banddirector.com  and for postings, click here

In addition, John and Paul are two of only 35 TI:ME (Technology Institute for Music Educators) nationally certified institutional instructors to serve as a training instructor throughout the country. As a clinician, Dr. Kuzmich frequently participates in workshops throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, and South America. This past school year, he guest presented in Hawaii, Switzerland, and Poland besides recently retiring as a public school educator for the past 43 years.  Most recently, he taught at Shandong University in Jinan, China for the 2012-2013 school year.

2012 summer's clinics are posted here.   For more info, visit John's clinician web site at:  www.kuzmich.com/clinics.html.  In 2012, John has presented clinics at:
